Having a garden on the 7th storey can be hard work.  A garden on the 7th level in the Docklands provides many challenges.  With the planting scheme struggling at the prestigious Dock 5 due to the high, forceful winds, we were engaged to provide a new panting design that would help overcome these rugged conditions and retain the class of the apartment complex.

Using a combination of native and exotic plantings, we were able to use colour and character to help in drawing the eye away from the surrouding apartment buildings.  Combining Bamboo and Eucalyptus plantings have aided in creating a wind break that also screens out the neighouring apartments and provides a feeling of privacy.  Mass planting of burgundy Tea Trees provides a beautiful colour contrast against the Olive trees.

Now three years on, we are proud to maintain this very different rooftop garden.
